We are seeking a qualified and responsible Medical Staff member to oversee the health and safety of workers at a construction site. The candidate will be responsible for regular health monitoring, providing immediate medical assistance in case of injuries, and supporting workplace safety compliance, including substance abuse checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular health check-ups of construction workers.
Provide first aid and immediate medical treatment in case of injuries or accidents at the site.
Take prompt action to minimize the impact of accidents or injuries before further medical help is available.
Maintain medical records and incident reports for all workers.
Monitor workers for signs of fatigue, illness, or unsafe health conditions.
Identify suspected cases of drug or illegal substance use among workers.
Collect blood samples (if required) in case of suspicion and coordinate with authorized laboratories for testing.
Ensure proper documentation and evidence collection for insurance claims and legal compliance.
Assist management in maintaining health and safety standards as per regulations.
Keep the site equipped with medical supplies and first aid kits at all times.
Requirements:
Qualification in Nursing, Paramedical, or MBBS (as applicable).
Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and trauma care.
Ability to perform basic medical tests and blood sample collection.
Familiarity with workplace safety and health regulations.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work in a construction site environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in industrial or construction site medical support.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
Good communication and quick decision-making skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure workers are fit for duty and not under the influence of illegal substances.
Coordinate with insurance and legal authorities when required.
Maintain confidentiality of medical records
