Job Description – Staff Nurse
Position : Staff Nurse
Location : Porur
Department : Healthcare / Nursing
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and support to patients as per medical instructions and healthcare standards.
Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.
Administer medications, injections, treatments, and IV fluids as prescribed by doctors.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control protocols within the healthcare facility.
Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment plans, medications, and recovery procedures.
Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies.
Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide first aid when required.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
Follow hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing).
Valid Nursing License / Registration.
Good knowledge of patient care procedures and medical practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations.
