About the Division:

The TOTO Battery Financing Division is a strategic business vertical of Veelo Mobility Private Limited. This division is dedicated to supporting the growing ecosystem of e-rickshaw owners and drivers by providing Lithium Battery on Lease to Own basis — enabling existing E-Rickshaw owners to shift from Lead Acid batteries to Lithium Batteries through easy pay as you go financing solutions. Through this initiative, the company aims to increase lithium battery adoption by reducing the upfront financial burden of Lithium batteries on e-rickshaw customers with no CIBIL requirements & no upfront payments to be made for such financing. Company is committed to conversion of all lead acid battery users to Lithium Battery users to remove the environmental impact of such lead acid batteries.

However, these hubs These hubs not only facilitate smooth financing and installation processes but also provide after-sales support, ensuring uninterrupted performance and customer satisfaction.

Position: Service Executive – TOTO Battery Financing Division

Reporting to – Area Operations Head

Location: Kolkata - Hubli (West Bengal) / Raipur (Chhattisgarh)

Role Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Lithium-ion batteries under the TOTO Battery Financing Division of Veelo.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring uninterrupted battery performance and customer satisfaction by providing efficient technical support and field services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install Lithium-ion batteries in e-rickshaws and other electric vehicles, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards.

· Perform inward quality checks on batteries received at the hub to confirm compliance with OEM and company specifications.

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve battery-related technical issues promptly to reduce downtime.

· Provide on-site service and maintenance support to ensure uninterrupted battery performance and 100% customer runtime.

· Coordinate with OEM teams via video calls to address complex or unique technical concerns and implement effective solutions.

· Maintain detailed service logs, job sheets, and technical reports with accuracy and timely submission.

· Assist the Area Operations Head in achieving operational goals, improving service efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Note: Selected candidates will receive hands-on training in Lithium battery technology at the vendor facility.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  • Diploma in Electrical / ITI (Electrician) / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

  • Minimum 10th pass for ITI-trained candidates.

• Experience:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in any of the following industries:

· Inverter / Battery manufacturing or service industry

· EV (Electric Vehicle) or e-rickshaw service sector

· Lead Acid / Lithium-ion Battery industry

· Industrial electrical service

Key Skills & Competencies

· Basic understanding of electrical circuits and wiring.

· Fundamental knowledge of battery technology (Lithium-ion preferred).

· Ability to operate and update Battery Management Software.

· Proficient in basic computer operations and Excel-based reporting.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

· Good communication and coordination skills with customers and internal teams.

· Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in the field.
