Job Overview
We are looking for a technically sound and customer-oriented Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Batch Coding & Laser Marking Machines. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for delivering excellent after-sales service.
🔧 Key Roles & Responsibilities
🔹 Installation & Commissioning
Install, commission, and demonstrate Batch Coding & Laser Marking Machines at customer sites
Ensure machines operate as per technical specifications and quality standards
🔹 Service & Maintenance
Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing
Diagnose technical issues and resolve them with minimum downtime
Attend service calls, site visits, and emergency breakdowns
🔹 Customer Support & Training
Train machine operators on usage and basic troubleshooting
Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution
Coordinate with sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction
🔹 Documentation & Reporting
Maintain service reports, visit logs, and spare parts usage records
Support warranty, AMC, and post-sales service activities
Follow company service SOPs and safety guidelines
🛠 Technical Skills Required
Experience with Batch Coding / Laser Marking / Inkjet / Automation Machines
Knowledge of electrical, electronics, and mechanical systems
Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Basic software and troubleshooting knowledge
Exposure to PLCs, sensors, drives, motors, and control panels will be an added advantage
