Service engineer

Subject:- Job Description – Engineer (Customer Services)

Report to :- Service Manager

Location:- Ahmedabad / Hyderabad

Qualification:-

Education: - B.E. / Diploma Mechanical,

Professional Experience: - Minimum 2-8 Yrs. of Experience in Commissioning/ Servicing of Pharma Machineries/ Capital Equipment

Responsibilities:-

1. To attend complaints received from Marketing/ Branches or directly from customers.

2. To take details of warranty, Sr. No. and back history of the Machines.

3. To maintain nature of Complaints in the Register.

4. To inform Marketing Customers in advance regarding date of visit of Service Engineer.

5. To list out part nos. with Design for required spares for FOC.

6. To issue FOC slip spares against complaints, damages, short supply, missing, wrong supply etc.

7. To confirm with Sales coordinator regarding FOC details.

8. To confirm with Stores regarding availability of parts.

9. To confirm with planning for availability of Materials.

10. To send information to Marketing/ Clients regarding remedies.

11. To communicate with Machinery supplier about complaint and solution.

12. To maintain complete correspondences about commissioning and Customers.

13. Giving feedback to Marketing regarding Commissioning.

14. To give feedback to Design / QC / Production for preventive / corrective action.

15. Any additional duties / Responsibilities assigned by the Management.

16. Installation and commissioning of the machineries at customer site location.

17. Interfacing with :-

a)   Marketing

b)   Stores

c)    PPC

d)   QC

e)   Branches

f)     Customers
