Service engineer

Reporting To:

Salary: 4 to 6 LPA

Educational Qualification:  Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electricals/Electronics

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of gensets (diesel/gas-powered).

· Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.

· Ensure all service jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.

· Maintain service records and generate periodic performance reports.

· Provide technical guidance to the service team and customers.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex genset issues.

· Liaise with supply team for technical support and spare parts.

· Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment.

· Coordinate procurement of parts and supplies.

· Ensure proper documentation and stock control procedures are followed.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for service-related customer queries and complaints.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

· Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer issues.

· Lead, train, and supervise service technicians and field engineers.

· Allocate manpower and resources for various service projects.

· Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs.
