The Service Technician – Hospitality Equipment will be responsible for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment used in hospitality environments such as electric kettles, beverage appliances, small kitchen equipment, and related devices. The role involves diagnosing faults, replacing defective components, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting installation and service operations at client locations when required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Inspection & Troubleshooting
● Inspect malfunctioning equipment and identify technical issues.
● Diagnose problems in electrical circuits, heating elements, thermostats, switches, wiring, and control components.
● Use testing tools such as multimeters and diagnostic instruments for fault detection. 2. Repair & Maintenance
● Repair and service electric kettles, small kitchen appliances, and other hospitality equipment supplied by the company.
● Replace defective components such as heating elements, switches, thermostats, wiring, and circuit components.
● Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability and safety. 3. Installation Support
● Assist with the installation and commissioning of hospitality equipment at project sites.
● Support the project team in equipment setup, electrical connections, and testing.
● Ensure equipment operates correctly before handover to clients.
4. On-Site Service & Customer Support
● Visit hotel or project locations to provide service, maintenance, and technical support when required.
● Ensure quick resolution of equipment issues to minimize downtime for clients.
● Maintain professional interaction with clients during service visits.
5. Documentation & Reporting
● Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
● Prepare service reports after repairs or service visits.
● Inform supervisors about frequent equipment issues or replacement needs.
6. Spare Parts & Inventory Coordination
● Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams for required spare parts.
● Ensure proper usage and storage of tools and electronic components.
7. Safety & Compliance
● Follow company safety guidelines and electrical safety protocols.
● Ensure safe handling of tools and equipment during repair and installation activities. Qualifications Education
● Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field Experience
● 1–3 years of experience in electronic equipment repair or appliance servicing Required Skills
✔ Knowledge of electrical circuits and appliance repair
✔ Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters
✔ Ability to identify faults in heating appliances and small electrical devices
✔ Basic understanding of hospitality equipment or kitchen appliances
✔ Good technical troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills
