The AC Technician and other household aplliances like Washing Machine, Refrigerator, etc will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The role includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and complying with all safety and company standards.
Install, maintain, and repair equipment as per manufacturer specifications and standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning coils and filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting wiring, and lubricating moving parts.
Identify maintenance risks, recommend corrective actions, and provide accurate estimates for repairs and parts when required.
Handle and manage refrigerants safely in line with applicable regulations and environmental standards.
Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance logs accurately and on time.
Follow company safety policies, industry codes, and relevant health and safety regulations at all times.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining issues, repair options, and system usage or maintenance tips.
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, components, and controls, including split, window, cassette, and package units.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Proficient in using diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, pressure gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors.
Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills to prioritize multiple service calls.
Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional attitude on-site.
