Job Summary:
The Service Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment at client sites. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning:

   • Install mechanical equipment and systems at customer sites as per company standards.

   • Perform commissioning tests and ensure proper functionality.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

   • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems.

   • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.

   • Ensure minimal downtime for client equipment.

3. Customer Support:

   • Provide on-site and remote support to clients.

   • Address service requests promptly and maintain good customer relations.

   • Demonstrate proper usage and maintenance procedures to clients.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment history.

   • Prepare reports on service activities, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance schedules.

5. Safety & Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies during service activities.

   • Follow proper handling procedures for tools, machinery, and spare parts.

6. Collaboration & Training:

   • Work closely with the sales and production teams for service-related requirements.

   • Participate in training sessions for new equipment and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 1–3 years of experience in service, maintenance, or installation of mechanical equipment (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of HVAC, industrial machinery, or pumps/compressors is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
