Job Summary:
The Service Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment at client sites. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning:
Install mechanical equipment and systems at customer sites as per company standards.
Perform commissioning tests and ensure proper functionality.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
Ensure minimal downtime for client equipment.
Customer Support:
Provide on-site and remote support to clients.
Address service requests promptly and maintain good customer relations.
Demonstrate proper usage and maintenance procedures to clients.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment history.
Prepare reports on service activities, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies during service activities.
Follow proper handling procedures for tools, machinery, and spare parts.
Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with the sales and production teams for service-related requirements.
Participate in training sessions for new equipment and technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in service, maintenance, or installation of mechanical equipment (preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of HVAC, industrial machinery, or pumps/compressors is a plus.
Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
