Job Title- Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Job Responsibilities – Mechanical Fitter

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of mechanical equipment and machinery.

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.

  • Dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble mechanical equipment.

  • Conduct alignment of pumps, motors, shafts, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.

  • Handle and maintain equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, valves, conveyors and bearings.

  • Identify mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and P&IDs.

  • Replace damaged or worn-out bearings, seals, couplings, belts and other components.
