Role Summary
The Evaluation Engineer is responsible for the physical inspection and evaluation of used cars for purchase — through retail, auction, or C2C (consumer-to-consumer) transactions — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to CARS24's evaluation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate used cars for purchase (retail/auction/C2C) as per assigned leads/appointments.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections with zero errors, strictly following the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Assess mechanical condition, cosmetic condition, structural integrity, and overall vehicle health.

• Use the CARS24 inspection app/tool to record inspection findings and upload data accurately.

• Determine a fair market valuation/price recommendation based on inspection results.

• Explain inspection findings and pricing to customers in a clear, professional manner.

• Maintain daily visit/inspection targets and ensure timely completion of assigned leads.

• Travel to customer locations within and around the assigned city/region for inspections.

• Coordinate with the sales/procurement team to close deals.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics, engine systems, and car components.

• Prior experience in vehicle inspection, automobile service, or a similar field is an advantage.

• Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license.

• Smartphone with willingness to use inspection apps/tools.

• Good communication skills (local language + basic Hindi/English).

• Willingness to travel locally for field visits.
