Job Overview
We are looking for 10 motivated Lift Maintenance Workers to join our service team. The primary role is to ensure the smooth and safe operation of elevator systems through regular preventive maintenance, specifically focusing on mechanical upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
Lubrication & Maintenance:
Perform regular greasing and oiling of all moving mechanical parts, including pulleys, guide rails, and motor bearings, to prevent wear and tear.
Basic Fitting Tasks: Assist in basic mechanical fitting, such as tightening loose bolts, replacing worn-out rollers, and adjusting counterweights.
Safety Inspections:
Conduct routine safety checks of hoistway doors, braking mechanisms, and emergency switches to ensure they meet standard safety regulations.
On-site Upkeep:
Maintain a clean and organized machine room and work area, ensuring tools are properly stored and managed.
Documentation: Maintain basic logs of daily service visits and tasks performed for each lift.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or as an elevator helper; freshers with strong mechanical interest are welcome.
Education: no required but will be good if 10th/12th pass with relevant technical background.
Mechanical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of hand tools (wrenches, pliers, hammers) and mechanical pulleys.
Safety Mindset: High awareness of safety protocols, including the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like gloves and boots.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in confined spaces (lift shafts and machine rooms).
Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks
