ATM Field Engineer – Job Description
Role: ATM Field Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain ATM machines.
Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues at ATM sites.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks.
Replace faulty ATM components such as card readers, cash dispensers, printers, and power supplies.
Ensure ATM uptime by responding to service calls within the defined SLA.
Coordinate with the technical support team for complex issues.
Maintain service reports and update job status through the company's service portal or mobile application.
Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures while working at customer locations.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
Understanding of ATM hardware and peripherals (preferred).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Freshers can apply (training is often provided), though prior field service experience is an advantage.
Preferred Requirements:
Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence (often preferred or required).
Ability to work in rotational shifts and on-call support if needed.
