Job Title: Automobile Technician
Department: Service / Workshop
Location: K.S. Motors

Job Purpose

To perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs efficiently while ensuring quality workmanship, technician productivity, and timely vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting as per company and Mahindra standards.

2. Complete assigned jobs within the estimated time and ensure adherence to promised delivery timelines.

3. Utilize QWIK bays effectively for jobs that can be completed within 3 hours or less.

4. Update job progress and repair status in MTRAQ in real time.

5. Prioritize vehicle jobs based on service requirements, customer commitments, and job categories such as FS, PS, RR, and RCL.

6. Perform jobs according to the technician skill matrix and assigned workload.

7. Ensure the availability of required spare parts, tools, and equipment before starting the job.

8. Immediately inform the Service Advisor (SA) / Relationship Manager (RM) about delays, additional repairs, or technical issues.

9. Maintain quality standards and minimize repeat repairs and customer complaints.

10. Follow workshop safety guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

11. Support the achievement of same-day delivery targets and overall workshop productivity.

12. Maintain accurate job cards, repair records, and other required documentation.
