ABOUT THE ROLE

A Bike Inspection Engineer is responsible for checking, testing, and certifying bikes to make sure they’re safe, compliant, and road-worthy before sale, use, or competition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Inspect frame integrity (cracks, welds, alignment)

·        Check brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, engine

·        Inspect drivetrain (chain, gears, sprockets)

·        Verify torque settings and fasteners

·        Test electrical systems (e-bikes: battery, motor, wiring)

·        Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

·        Perform road or bench tests

·        Document inspection results and issue pass/fail reports

·        Recommend repairs or replacements

KEY REQUIREMENT

·        4-8 years of Strong mechanical knowledge of bikes or motorcycles

·        Understanding of materials (aluminum, carbon fiber, steel)

·        Ability to read technical drawings/specs

·        Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, torque wrenches, gauges)

·        Attention to detail (tiny faults matter 🚨)

·        Problem-solving and clear reportin

·        Basic electrical knowledge (for e-bikes or modern motorcycles)
