ABOUT THE ROLE

A Bike Inspection Engineer is responsible for checking, testing, and certifying bikes to make sure they’re safe, compliant, and road-worthy before sale, use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Inspect frame integrity (cracks, welds, alignment)

• Check brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, engine

• Inspect drivetrain (chain, gears, sprockets)

• Verify torque settings and fasteners

• Test electrical systems (e-bikes: battery, motor, wiring)

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Perform road or bench tests

• Document inspection results and issue pass/fail reports

• Recommend repairs or replacements
  

KEY REQUIREMENT

• 4-8 years of Strong mechanical knowledge of bikes or motorcycles

• Understanding of materials (aluminium, carbon fiber, steel)

• Ability to read technical drawings/specs

• Familiarity with inspection tools (callipers, torque wrenches, gauges)

• Attention to detail (tiny faults matter)

• Problem-solving and clear reporting

• Basic electrical knowledge (for e-bikes or modern motorcycles)
