Summary
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO
strategies for agency clients. This role requires hands-on expertise in on-page, off-page, and
technical SEO, along with strong analytical and reporting skills. The ideal candidate has agency
experience and can manage multiple projects while meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple client websites.
Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research.
Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, images, and internal linking.
Manage technical SEO including site audits, crawl issues, indexing, site speed, and
mobile optimization.
Plan and execute off-page SEO and link-building strategies.
Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices.
Track and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google
Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
Prepare monthly SEO reports and present insights and recommendations to clients or
internal teams.
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and industry trends.
Support local SEO, e-commerce SEO, and international SEO projects as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
2–4 years of SEO experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools and reporting platforms.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
Experience handling multiple client accounts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Local SEO, eCommerce SEO, and SaaS SEO.
Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Familiarity with paid search and content marketing strategies.
SEO certifications are a plus.
