SEO Executive

An SEO Executive develops and implements strategies to improve a website's visibility and traffic by conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and performing technical audits. They monitor website performance using analytics tools, build backlinks, stay updated on search engine algorithm changes, and collaborate with other teams to achieve SEO objectives. 

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning:

  Develop and implement SEO strategies to meet business goals, and coordinate with other teams, such as marketing and UX/UI. 

• Keyword research:

  Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing keywords and incorporate them into website content. 

• Content and on-page optimization:

  Optimize website content for search engines, write SEO-friendly copy, and assist with blog content. 

• Technical SEO:

  Perform technical website audits, resolve site architecture issues, and work with developers to improve site speed and indexing. 

• Off-page SEO and link building:

  Create and execute link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and website visibility. 

• Analysis and reporting:

  Analyze user behavior and website performance using tools like Google Analytics to generate reports and measure ROI. 

• Competitor analysis:

  Monitor competitor strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition. 

• Staying updated:

  Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and changes to search engine algorithms. 

Necessary skills

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. 

  • Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques. 

  • Basic understanding of coding techniques, such as HTML/CSS. 

• Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. 

  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on SEO performance.
