Job Purpose:
To drive sales and promote bakery machinery products to commercial bakeries, cafes, hotels, and food production units. The role involves generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales while understanding customer needs and providing suitable machinery solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the bakery machinery segment.
• Meet with potential customers to present products, demonstrate machinery, and explain features/benefits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Coordinate with the technical team to provide product demonstrations and after-sales support.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote products and generate leads.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in food processing or bakery equipment. Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of experience can apply.
• Strong understanding of bakery machinery and related processes (e.g., mixers, ovens, sheeters, etc.)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Language: Language must be able to speak Tamil, Hindi and English fluently
Familiarity with bakery production workflow.
Before and After Service Responsibilities:
Provide technical product demonstrations and consultations to potential clients.
Coordinate the end-to-end sales process—from enquiry to order closure and installation.
Maintain strong relationships with customers for long-term business growth.
Plan and execute periodic service visits as per AMC and warranty schedules.
Ensure timely resolution of customer issues, breakdowns, or maintenance needs.
Coordinate with the service team for smooth execution of field services.
Keep records of machine performance, service reports, and customer feedback.
