Job Title: Assistant Manager – Product Development (NPD)

Location: Noida Sector 63, Uttar Pradesh
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Product Development (NPD) with a background in mechanical engineering and plastic injection moulding. The candidate will be responsible for leading new product development initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting research & development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to production

• Coordinate with design, tooling, and production teams for product feasibility

• Develop and improve plastic components using injection moulding processes

• Conduct research and development for new materials, designs, and processes

• Work closely with vendors and toolmakers for mould development and trials

• Ensure timely product launches while maintaining quality and cost targets

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and product specifications

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Specialization or experience in Plastic Injection Moulding preferred

• 10-18 years of experience in Product Development / NPD / R&D

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of plastic materials and injection moulding processes

• Experience in product design and development lifecycle

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)

• Good communication and team coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in tooling development and mould trials

• Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing processes

• Exposure to cost optimization and product improvement
