Job Description: Site and Fleet Supervisor
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site and Fleet Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our project sites, manage our fleet of vehicles and heavy machinery, and lead a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to cost control and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet and Machine Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimal utilization of all company vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and safety compliance.
Site Operations: Manage all daily site activities, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the required standards.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage site and technical teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration.
Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets for site activities and fleet maintenance, focusing on cost-effective solutions and identifying opportunities for savings.
Reporting & Documentation: Establish and maintain comprehensive reporting systems, including daily/weekly operational reports, fleet status updates, maintenance logs, and financial summaries for senior management.
Compliance: Ensure all site and fleet operations adhere to local, state, and company safety and regulatory standards.
Administrative Tasks: Utilize computer skills for scheduling, inventory management, data analysis, and preparing professional reports and presentations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Technical Expertise: Deep Knowledge about Vehicle and Machines (including maintenance, diagnostics, and operational best practices for a varied fleet).
Operational Leadership: Deep Knowledge about Site Management with proven experience in overseeing complex field operations.
Professional Experience: 6+ years of relevant work experience in a fleet, operations, or site management role.
Leadership Ability: Team Management Skill is must, with a track record of successfully leading, motivating, and developing operational teams.
Financial Acumen: Budgeting and Cost Management Knowledge is must, including experience with P&L, expense tracking, and maximizing asset utilization.
Data Management: Reporting Knowledge is must, with the ability to create clear, accurate, and actionable reports for various stakeholders.
Digital Proficiency: Computer Skill is must, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar operational software/CMMS systems.
