ob Description: Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Confectionery Production) Overview:
This role is responsible for performing both preventative and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment within a confectionery production facility. The technician will ensure optimal operational efficiency of equipment such as mixing, depositing, enrobing, wrapping, and packaging lines—while strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments on all production machinery to prevent breakdowns and maintain quality output.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, including replacing worn parts, adjusting machine settings, and performing minor repairs to restore equipment functionality.
Breakdown Response:
Respond promptly to machinery malfunctions during production to minimize downtime and disruptions.Apply knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical components relevant to confectionery machinery.Interpret technical drawings and manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.Identify and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and production efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications:
