Job Description: Packaging Supervisor (Jopasu India Pvt Ltd)

Role Purpose:
Oversee the packaging operations to ensure accurate, timely, and quality packing of finished goods in line with company standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all daily packaging activities and staff; allocate tasks and monitor efficiency.

• Maintain stock of packaging materials, coordinate with vendors and the stores department for timely procurement.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards for packed products (visual inspection, labeling accuracy, sealing, and packing as per specification).

• Collaborate with sales, dispatch, and production departments for order prioritization and scheduling.

• Implement and sustain 5S and safety practices within the packaging area.

• Ensure all packaging is compliant with product and client-specific requirements (branding, barcoding, export/import norms where applicable).

• Address and resolve day-to-day operational issues, monitor line stoppages, and prevent packaging rework.

• Maintain packaging records,On completion of entire batch (tertiary packing), enter the details in SAP and issue the material to FG stores update relevant documentation, and generate daily reports for management.

• Train and develop the packaging team on best practices, new materials, and process improvements.

• Support in product photography, sample preparation, and digital content assistance for marketing if required.

• Adhere to company policies, health, and safety standards at all times.

• Leadership and team supervision skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong coordination and communication skills—liaison between vendors, sales, and production.

• Experience in handling packaging materials for industrial/chemical/ecommerce products (as relevant).

• Knowledge of digital marketing aesthetics and online packaging requirements (preferred).
