JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Position: Design & Development Engineer (Power Electronic)

2. Level: Junior /Middle-Level Management

3. Location

The position is in our Vasai Factory. Hence the candidates residing on the western

railway between Andheri-Virar would be preferred.

4. Reports to: R&D HEAD

5.Key relationships

•INTERNAL

D&D, QC, Production & Purchase

•EXTERNAL -

Customer & Testing Labs, if required.

6.Key Result Areas

• Any firmware correction/modification required by the customer.

• On completion of Project handing over of Final BOM, Test Procedure, Testing

requirements, preparation of operation and Maintenance Manual

• Good Knowledge in the Power Electronics field is preferred.

• Knowledge of UPS, Welding Source, or other similar equipment.

7.Responsibilities:

• Testing of Hardware and troubleshooting with the help of software

• Documentation work like preparing schematics, Bill of Material, testing procedure,

checking of artwork etc.

8.Capabilities and competencies

• Familiar with Diagnostic / Debugging Tools - Digital scope , Multimeter , JTAG IDE

etc.

• Work on more than 5kw power system.

• Understanding of various interface - UART , USB , I2C , Bluetooth

• Knowledge of power devices (MOSFET,IGBT) and its use (DC-DC Converter/DC-

AC) will be added advantage

9.Desirable capabilities and Competencies

• Good Engineering knowledge power electronics field

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Ability to work in a team.

10.Experience:

• Minimum 2 - 5 years’ experience of R &D in the UPS Electronic Industry

• Fresh with a good academic record & sound technical knowledge can be

considered.

11.Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / Embedded Technology

12. Age :Age up to 35 years
