We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator with hands-on experience in operating CNC milling/turning machines for precision manufacturing of UAV and defence-grade components. The candidate will work closely with the production and engineering team to machine aluminium, carbon fibre, and composite parts used in drone systems.
Operate CNC milling/turning machines for precision component manufacturing.
Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions.
Set up workpieces, tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
Perform G-Code adjustments based on machining requirements.
Monitor machining operations and maintain tight tolerances and surface finish standards.
Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges and CMM tools.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure operational safety.
Collaborate with design engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.
Maintain records of machining operations, production logs, and QC reports.
Work with aluminium alloys, plastics, carbon fibre plates, and metal components.
2–5 years of CNC machine operation experience.
Knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens/Haas controllers.
Ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T).
Familiarity with tool selection, feeds, speeds and cutting strategies.
Experience in precision aerospace/automotive machining preferred.
Experience with CNC router operations for composite machining (added advantage).
Basic understanding of CAM software—Fusion 360, Mastercam or SolidCAM.
Knowledge of ISO manufacturing and safety standards.
Ability to achieve high repeatability and accuracy in production.
ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
