Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC laser cutting machines using CAD/CAM software

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders

• Set up laser cutting machines including material loading, tooling, and parameters

• Operate laser cutting machines (fiber/CO₂) to produce accurate parts

• Optimize nesting and cutting paths to minimize material waste

• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments

• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality

• Maintain production records and report deviations or issues

• Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications & Skills

• ITI / Diploma / Technical certification in CNC, Mechanical, or related field

• Proven experience as a laser cutting machine operator and programmer

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Lantek, TruTops, SigmaNEST, etc.)

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Knowledge of metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and meet production targets
