Job Title: Legal Associate / Lawyer – Loan Settlement

Experience Required: 1–5 Years (preferred in banking/NBFC/collections/legal recovery)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lawyer to manage legal aspects of loan settlement, debt resolution, and client advisory. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial laws, debt recovery processes, and excellent negotiation skills to support both clients and the company in resolving outstanding debts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle legal cases related to loan defaults, settlements, and recovery.

• Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as settlement agreements, notices, and contracts.

• Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, and collection agencies for settlement negotiations.

• Provide legal advice to clients regarding debt settlement and financial liabilities.

• Represent clients/company in legal proceedings (if required).

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial and legal regulations.

• Manage documentation and maintain proper legal records.

• Handle escalations and legal disputes professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• LLB degree (mandatory), LLM is a plus.

• Strong understanding of banking laws, SARFAESI Act, RBI guidelines, and debt recovery laws.

• Excellent drafting and communication skills.

• Good negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation.
