Job Description (JD) – Legal Document Typist (Female)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Female Legal Document Typist with excellent typing and documentation skills. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, formatting, proofreading, and maintaining legal documents with high accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Type legal documents, agreements, affidavits, notices, contracts, and other legal correspondence.

• Prepare and format documents as per legal standards.

• Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and error-free content.

• Maintain digital and physical records of legal documents.

• Convert handwritten or scanned documents into editable formats.

• Coordinate with advocates and legal professionals for document preparation.

• Handle confidential legal information with professionalism.

• Complete assignments within deadlines.

Eligibility:

• Female candidates only.

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 1–2 years of experience in legal typing or documentation preferred.

• Freshers with excellent typing skills may also apply.

Required Skills:

• English typing speed of 40–60 WPM or above.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF editing.

• Strong command of English grammar and formatting.

• High attention to detail.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is an added advantage.

Working Days:

• Monday to Saturday
