Junior Advocate

Role Summary

Shree Balaji Group is seeking a motivated Junior Advocate to support the in-house legal team in managing real estate and land-related legal matters. The role involves assisting in property due diligence, legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination with government authorities for land and real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct title verification and property due diligence, including review of 7/12 extracts, mutation entries, and other land/property records.

• Assist in land demarcation, survey matters, and Non-Agricultural (NA) conversion documentation.

• Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as:

  • Agreement to Sale

  • Sale Deeds

  • Lease / Leave & License Agreements

  • Development Agreements

  • Power of Attorney

• Coordinate with Sub-Registrar offices, revenue authorities, and government departments for property registrations and approvals.

• Assist in RERA registration, compliance filings, and project documentation.

• Support senior counsel in legal notices, case preparation, and litigation tracking.

• Maintain legal records and assist in ensuring compliance with applicable real estate and land regulations.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or Integrated LL.B. from a recognized university.

• Enrollment with the State Bar Council is mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of property laws, land records, RERA regulations, and registration procedures.

• Proficiency in English and Marathi/Hindi.

• Strong drafting, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Maharashtra land revenue records and procedures.

• Good communication and legal research abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage documentation efficiently
