We are seeking a strong legal-focused CS professional to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, contract management, and governance support. The role is critical to safeguard the company against regulatory, contractual, and litigation risks, while ensuring smooth compliance with RBI, Companies Act, and other applicable laws
Role & Responsibilities: Legal due diligence for borrowers, vendors, and partners. Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, SLAs, and loan-related legal documents. Handle legal notices, replies, and official legal correspondence. Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, notices, disputes, and recovery matters. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (Companies Act, Contract Act, RBI guidelines, Labour Laws, etc.). Identify legal and compliance risks and advise management on risk mitigation. Handle Board, Committee, and General Meetings — drafting notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions. Maintain statutory registers, records, and regulatory filings. Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and consultants.
Skills and Experience:
Company Secretary (CS) – Mandatory LLB – Preferred 3–7 years of relevant experience Mandatory experience in NBFC / Banking / Financial Services Strong knowledge of: Companies Act, 2013 RBI & NBFC regulations, Financial & lending documentation Strong exposure to legal documentation and regulatory compliance Experience in legal drafting and compliance filings Familiarity with MCA portal and RBI filings Strong attention to detail Excellent drafting and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters Risk-oriented and compliance-driven mindset
