Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Advocate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, experience in handling litigation and legal documentation, and the ability to provide sound legal advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and other judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.
Draft, review, and vet legal documents, including agreements, notices, petitions, affidavits, contracts, and legal opinions.
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies, briefs, and written submissions.
Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, risks, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with clients, government departments, regulatory authorities, and external counsels.
Attend client meetings and provide timely legal updates.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate case records, legal documentation, and confidential information.
Support dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
Enrollment with the Bar Council and a valid Certificate of Practice.
2–5 years of relevant experience in litigation, corporate law, or commercial legal practice (experience requirement may be adjusted based on the role).
Strong knowledge of Indian laws, legal procedures, and court practices.
Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
