Job Description – Advocate

Experience: 2-6 years (Experienced Advocates preferred)

About the Role

Legal Capital Law Firm is looking for a skilled and dedicated Advocate to join our legal team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in handling Family, Criminal, Civil, and DRT matters, along with High Court exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and manage Family, Criminal, Civil, and DRT cases independently.

• Draft petitions, plaints, written statements, counter-affidavits, applications, legal notices, and other legal documents.

• Appear before District Courts, Tribunals, and High Court, as required.

• Conduct legal research and provide appropriate legal opinions.

• Attend hearings, argue matters, and coordinate with clients regarding case proceedings.

• Prepare case briefs, documentation, and hearing notes.

• Monitor case status, next hearing dates, and court proceedings.

• Liaise with clients, senior advocates, court staff, and other legal professionals.

• Handle case documentation and maintain proper records.

• Support seniors in complex matters and litigation strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.

• Valid Bar Council enrolment.

• Strong knowledge of Indian laws and court procedures.

• Practical experience in Civil, Criminal, Family, and DRT matters.

• High Court exposure is required/preferred.

• Strong drafting, legal research, and argumentation skills.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of e-Courts and online legal research tools will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Court-experienced Advocate with strong litigation exposure.

• Experience appearing before High Court and lower courts.

• Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently.

• Professional attitude with good client relationship skills.

• Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
