Position Overview
We are seeking an astute, well-networked Advocate & Corporate Liaison Consultant to spearhead the regulatory approvals, statutory clearances, and land legalities for an upcoming premium Snowpark project in Puri, Odisha. The ideal candidate will act as the vital bridge between our organization and various state government bodies, ensuring seamless, time-bound legal compliance from land conversion to operational readiness.
Core Responsibilities
Land Title & Revenue Management: Oversee the complete process of Non-Agricultural (NA) Land Conversion under Section 8(A) of the OLR Act via the Odisha Revenue Department; handle title scrutiny, mutation, and local revenue office (Tehsil) clearance.
Single-Window Regulatory Approvals: Manage, track, and expedite all regulatory filings on the GO-SWIFT portal (Government of Odisha) to secure pre-feasibility and final project clearances.
Statutory & Safety Licensing: Secure the Fire Safety Certificate from the Odisha Fire Service, and manage clearances from the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) and other safety authorities.
Municipal & Local Liaison: Coordinate with the Puri Municipality and local urban bodies to secure Building Plan Approvals, Trade Licenses, and Amusement/Entertainment operational permissions.
Risk Mitigation: Anticipate bureaucratic bottlenecks, interpret local land and municipal bylaws, and provide strategic legal counsel to keep the project timeline on track.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Expertise: Proven track record in handling commercial, hospitality, or amusement park real estate approvals in Odisha.
Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Odisha Land Reforms (OLR) Act, local municipal frameworks, and state fire safety mandates.
Network: Strong professional rapport and active liaisoning capability with the Odisha Revenue Department, Fire Service Directorate, and Puri local administration.
Skills: Excellent legal drafting, strategic negotiation, and proficiency in navigating Odisha’s digital governance portals (GO-SWIFT, Bhulekh).
