Job Responsibilities – Woman Warden (Girls’ Hostel)

• Ensure the safety, security, discipline, and overall well-being of girl students residing in the hostel.

• Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper functioning of the hostel premises in coordination with housekeeping and support staff.

• Monitor attendance, entry–exit timings, and visitor access as per hostel rules and institutional guidelines.

• Act as a mentor and point of contact for students for personal, academic, or health-related concerns.

• Address and resolve student grievances and complaints related to hostel life in a timely and sensitive manner.

• Enforce hostel rules, code of conduct, and discipline, and report violations to the Principal/Management.

• Coordinate with the college administration, security staff, and local authorities during emergencies or medical situations.

• Maintain hostel records, including occupancy, leave permissions, incident reports, and complaints registers.

• Support implementation of POSH, anti-ragging, and student welfare policies within the hostel.

• Ensure a safe, respectful, and conducive living environment for students’ academic and personal development.
