Job Summary
A Brick Mason is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining brick, block, and stone structures according to project drawings and specifications. The role requires accuracy, knowledge of masonry techniques, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials for walls, partitions, foundations, and structures.
Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and site plans.
Measure and mark work areas to ensure accurate alignment and level.
Prepare and apply mortar, cement, and grout mixtures.
Cut and shape bricks and blocks using appropriate hand and power tools.
Repair damaged brickwork and carry out restoration work when required.
Ensure all masonry work meets quality and structural standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
