Job Description: Warehouse Helper

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Helper to assist in the daily operations of our distribution center. You will be responsible for unloading incoming stock, safely storing fragile ceramic products (tiles, sanitaryware, and bath fittings), and preparing customer orders for dispatch. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and capable of handling heavy items with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Assist in unloading trucks carrying heavy crates of tiles and sanitaryware (Parryware, Nirali, etc.). Ensure all items are handled gently to prevent breakage.

• Stock Organization: Move and stack inventory in designated areas. Ensure that heavier items are stored at the base and fragile items are placed securely.

• Order Picking: Locate and pull products from shelves based on delivery notes to fulfill wholesale orders for retailers.

• Packing & Labeling: Wrap and secure ceramic products for safe transit. Apply correct labels to boxes to ensure accurate delivery.

• Quality Check: Inspect incoming and outgoing items for any visible cracks, chips, or defects. Report damages immediately to the supervisor.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the aisles clear of debris and packaging materials. Sweep the floor regularly to maintain a safe and clean workspace.

• Equipment Use: Safely operate manual pallet jacks and hand trolleys to move stock within the warehouse.

Requirements & Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 25–30kg) and stand for long hours.

• Care & Precision: High level of alertness when handling fragile ceramic goods to minimize "wastage" or breakage.

• Basic Literacy: Ability to read delivery notes, product codes (e.g., Cera Luxe models), and labels in English or Hindi.

• Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for maintaining our 15-year reputation for timely delivery.

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th pass preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or construction-related business is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Conditions

• Location: Duncan Road Mumbai 400008

• Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday..
