Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cotton Processing Operator to manage the various stages of raw cotton processing. This role involves handling raw materials, operating equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of raw cotton, from initial cleaning to packaging, ensuring that all processes meet the required standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Raw Material Handling:

   • Opening & Cleaning: Clean and open raw cotton bales, ensuring the removal of dust, debris, and impurities to prepare the cotton for processing.

   • Weighing & Sorting: Accurately weigh raw cotton bales and sort them based on their quality, grade, and specifications to meet manufacturing requirements.

2. Manufacturing Processes:

   • Boiling & Bleaching: Operate boiling and bleaching equipment to treat cotton for cleanliness, color consistency, and other specifications.

   • Drying & Lapping: Ensure cotton is properly dried and form laps to prepare the material for the next phase of production.

   • Carding & Rolling: Utilize carding and rolling machines to break down cotton fibers and prepare them for cutting and packaging.

   • Cutting & Packaging: Accurately cut cotton into specified sizes and package the cotton products according to customer or company requirements.

3. Quality Control:

   • Inspecting & Testing: Conduct regular inspections of cotton products to check for defects and ensure that quality standards are met.

   • Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate production and quality control records, documenting any deviations or issues, and ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.

4. Other Responsibilities:

   • Machine Operation & Maintenance: Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance.

   • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment for all employees.

   • Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter, ensuring that equipment and materials are stored properly.
