About the Role
We are looking for two hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the production of our handcrafted lampshades and home décor products.
The role involves hands-on work in our workshop, from preparing and crafting materials to assembling, finishing, cleaning, packaging and labelling finished products.
Skills Required
Prior experience is not essential. We are happy to train the right candidates.
The following skills will either be required or taught as part of the job:
Basic sewing
Fabric cutting and gluing
Handcrafting and product assembly
Basic welding – full training will be provided
Understanding and following work orders
Planning and scheduling assigned work
Cleaning and maintaining the work area
Product finishing and quality checking
Packing and labelling finished products
Handling materials and maintaining basic warehouse organisation
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in learning and developing new skills
Is comfortable with hands-on, practical work
Can understand instructions and work orders
Takes responsibility for completing the work assigned to them
Is punctual, disciplined and reliable
Pays attention to quality and detail
Is willing to learn different aspects of our production process
Can work independently once trained
All necessary training will be provided.
The most important requirement is a willingness to learn, work sincerely and complete the tasks assigned.
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday & Public Holidays: Leave
