An electrical helper supports lead electricians by preparing work sites, handling tools, and installing wiring or metal support stands for panels, conduits, and fixtures. This hands-on role requires heavy standing, lifting, and strict safety compliance on commercial, residential, or industrial job sites.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Support & Assembly: Set up metal stands, racks, brackets, and frames to support heavy electrical equipment, panels, and cable trays.

• Wiring & Conduits: Cut, bend, thread, and secure metal conduits and pull cables through raceways.

• Tool Handling: Safely use and maintain hand and power tools (drills, saws, benders, strippers).

• Site Preparation: Measure, cut, and clear work areas; transport materials to specific locations.

• Assisting Diagnostics: Help test continuity or circuit components under direct supervision.

Key Requirements and Skills

• Physical Fitness: High stamina to spend long hours standing, bending, climbing, and lifting heavy metal components.

• Tool Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical hand tools.

• Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with workplace safety protocols, wearing protective gear (PPE), and keeping work areas hazard-free.

• Communication: Ability to follow direct instructions from licensed electricians and team members.
