Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiologist to join our hospital team. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, providing accurate reports, supporting clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning, and ensuring high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and report X-rays, Ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI studies as per the candidate's expertise.
Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
Perform and/or supervise ultrasound and other image-guided procedures where applicable.
Correlate imaging findings with clinical history and previous investigations.
Discuss critical or urgent findings with the concerned treating doctors promptly.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards.
Ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed for different clinical indications.
Coordinate with radiographers, technicians, nurses, and other clinical departments.
Ensure patient safety during diagnostic imaging procedures, including appropriate radiation-safety practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and provide clinical inputs when required.
Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the Radiology Department.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
MBBS with MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid registration with the applicable medical council.
Relevant hospital/diagnostic centre experience preferred.
Good knowledge of diagnostic imaging and reporting standards.
