Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate medication dispensing, patient counselling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions and provide clear instructions on dosage and usage.

• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, possible side effects, precautions, and adherence.

• Review prescriptions and identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, or adverse reactions.

• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, stock monitoring, and expiry checks.

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards.

• Conduct regular checks to maintain medication safety and dispensing accuracy.

• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related concerns.

• Handle patient queries professionally and provide a high standard of customer/patient service.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

• Valid pharmacist registration/license as applicable.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medicines, dosage, and drug interactions.

• Good communication and patient-handling skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic knowledge of computers and pharmacy software.

• Prior experience in a hospital, retail pharmacy, clinic, or clinical setting is preferred.

• Ability to work responsibly and effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment.
