Qualification
Diploma / bachelor's degree in medical laboratory technology (DMLT / BMLT)
knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
Collect, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, stool, tissue, etc.)
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per standard procedures
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of test results
Maintain laboratory records, registers, and test reports
Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
Handle and dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines
Assist doctors and pathologists with diagnostic procedures
Monitor inventory and request laboratory supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
