Position Title: Lab analyst
Department: Quality Assurance / Lab Operations
LOCATION - Naroda GIDC
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Timing: 10 AM - 6 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and non-routine chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products under approved methods.
Monitor and maintain lab instruments / equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, chromatographs) and ensure calibration, validation and maintenance records are up to date.
Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines (MSDS, TDS) and regulatory standards (GMP, GLP) while conducting experiments.
Record, interpret and report test data and results accurately, flagging any deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) findings.
Support process monitoring (e.g., pH, conductivity, concentration) and chemical bath/waste-management as needed.
Assist in improvement of laboratory processes, troubleshoot instrumentation problems and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain consumables inventory, chemical shelf life, disposal protocols and ensure lab housekeeping standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (production, R&D, quality) for sample flow, method transfer or deviation investigations.
• Ensure documentation in the Lab Information Management System (LIMS), maintain logs and generate periodic reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc Chemistry) or related field.
Hands-on laboratory experience is preferred. Knowledge of chemical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR,
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
Knowledge of basic safety, chemical handling, disposal protocols and lab best-practices.
• (Optional) Exposure to regulatory standards (GMP/GLP), quality systems, or experience in manufacturing/QA environment.
Desired Experience :
Freshers: 0-6 Month for entry-level lab analyst roles.
