📢 Urgent Requirement – Assistant Ink Chemist

Position: Assistant Ink Chemist
Department: Printing
Location: Por, Vadodara
Experience Required: 2 – 5 Years

Qualification

• B.Sc. in Chemistry
OR
• Diploma in Printing / Plastics / IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging)

Role Summary

The Assistant Ink Chemist will be responsible for monitoring product quality, maintaining process compliance, and ensuring adherence to company quality standards, SOPs, and customer specifications within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and quality testing of printing inks and finished products.
• Identify, analyze, and record product quality issues or deviations.
• Ensure workflows, production processes, and products comply with safety and quality regulations.
• Coordinate with production teams to maintain consistent quality output.
• Work on the shop floor and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain proper documentation of quality checks, testing results, and reports.
• Assist in maintaining quality control systems and continuous improvement processes.

Key Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC).
• Strong knowledge of printing inks, solvents, pigments, and additives.
• Basic understanding of Roto Gravure and Flexo Printing Machine processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a production-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Profile

• Experience in the printing / packaging / flexible packaging industry.
• Exposure to BRCGS / ISO quality audits.
• Immediate or short notice joiners preferred.

Additional Information

• Residence preferred near New Sama Road, Vadodara or near Por GIDC area.
• Company transport facility available from Sardar Estate at 7:30 AM for selected candidates.
• Candidate should have good communication skills and ability to handle responsibilities independently.
