About the Role

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Chemist to support our manufacturing operations and

product development activities. The role involves production planning, batch execution,

manufacturing documentation, GMP compliance, formulation development, and coordination with

management to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities as per approved procedures and batch records.

• Identify manufacturing challenges and recommend process improvements.

• Develop and refine Ayurvedic formulations for tablets, capsules, syrups, oils, ointments, and

other dosage forms.

• Assist in formulation development based on customer requirements and active ingredients.

• Select suitable excipients, binders, preservatives, and supporting ingredients to ensure

product stability, manufacturability, and shelf life.

• Conduct trial batches and support scale-up activities for new products.

• Work closely with management during new product development and contract

manufacturing projects.

• Maintain batch manufacturing records and related documentation.

• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor production processes and maintain production logs.

• Coordinate with stores for raw material and packing material availability.

• Support production planning and scheduling.

• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and operational efficiency within manufacturing areas.

• Assist during audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.

Requirements

Qualifications

• B.Pharm Ayurveda (Preferred)

• BAMS

• B.Pharm

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or Ayurvedic manufacturing.

• Experience in Ayurvedic manufacturing will be preferred.

• Experience in formulation development will be an added advantage.
