Scope of Work:
The scope of work includes the following:
1.1 2D Echo Technician will be working with the Dept of Cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab). The number of working days will be 26 days in a month. The number of working hours shall be maximum 08 hours excluding 30 minutes for lunch break. However, the timing and the working hours of the employees will be as per the requirement of the Hospital.
1.2 2D Echo Technician place of work will be Cardiac Cath Lab (Echo room), Cardiac OPD and Hospital wards and as directed by Officer in-charge CCL.
1.3 Expected number of 2D Echoes to be done daily 50-60 or even more / lesser as per requirement of the Hospital and as advised by the cardiologist. 2D Echo Technician have to assist Cardiologist during Transthoracic and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiograms and also in contrast echoes, stress echoes and echo guided interventions and as directed by the Hospital authorities.
1.4 2D Echo Technician have to ensure maintenance of Echocardiography machines, reports and documents.
1.5 2D Echo Technician have to carry out Data Entry and CD writing as advised by Cardiologist or any authorities of the Hospital.
1.6 2D Echo Technician will also assist Cardiologist and Cardio Cath Lab management with OPD assistance.
1.7 2D Echo Technician, during the course of duty shall always wear white apron /overcoat with name tab and 2D Echo Technician badge.
1.8 2D Echo Technician will help in other non-invasive procedures of cardiology department like applying 24 Hrs holter monitoring, 24 Hrs Ambulatory BP recorder, ECG and other specialized investigations.
