Role Overview
The SDS Modeler is responsible for developing precise 3D structural steel models and delivering fabrication-ready outputs for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D structural steel models and generate fabrication-ready outputs.
Interpret IFC structural and architectural drawings to ensure modeling aligns with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with AISC, AWS standards, and project specifications.
Identify and resolve modeling clashes and design inconsistencies.
Collaborate closely with detailers, checkers, and fabrication teams to incorporate feedback and client markups.
Maintain project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of AISC steel standards and fabrication practices.
Hands-on experience in US structural steel projects.
Exposure to US fabrication standards and international structural steel projects.
Good communication and coordination skills.
