Job Description for Engagement of Vocational Trainers in Uttar Pradesh

Position Details

Job Title: Vocational Trainer (VT)

Work Location: Various Govt. Schools in Uttar Pradesh

Working Hrs : At least 24 hrs. in a month ( 1hr/day/class)

Salary: 15000/- PM

Job Summary

The Vocational Trainer shall be responsible for imparting quality vocational education and practical skill training to students of Classes IX to XII under the CSS for Vocational Education Scheme. The trainer will ensure effective classroom delivery, practical sessions, student assessment, industry exposure, and timely submission of all academic and administrative reports while adhering to the guidelines of Samagra Shiksha, NSQF, and the company.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver theory and practical sessions as per the approved curriculum and timetable.

· Prepare lesson plans, session plans, teaching aids, and practical demonstrations.

· Ensure competency-based learning in accordance with NSQF standards.

· Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations, and maintain assessment records.

· Provide additional support to academically weak students.

· Conduct career guidance and counselling sessions.

· Develop students' employability, communication, digital literacy, teamwork, and workplace ethics.

· Prepare students for internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.

· Facilitate participation in skill competitions, exhibitions, and innovation activities.

· Coordinate industry visits, guest lectures, and practical exposure.

· Maintain vocational laboratories/workshops in good condition.

Essential Qualification & Experience

· Educational qualification as prescribed by Samagra Shiksha, NSQF, and the respective Sector Skill Council for the concerned Job Role.

· Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in the relevant vocational sector is desirable.

Preferred Skills

· Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English.

· Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace, email, internet).
