About the Role

We are looking for a Backend & Product Developer to develop, maintain and enhance our web-based logistics platform. The candidate will work on APIs, order/shipment management, payment and wallet modules, KYC, billing and other core product features.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP & CodeIgniter

• Good knowledge of MySQL & database design

• Strong experience in REST API development & third-party API integration

• Good knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery

• Practical experience with RabbitMQ / message queues

• Understanding of background jobs and asynchronous processing

• Git/GitHub knowledge

• API security, authentication and authorization

• Debugging and performance optimization

Product Development Skills

• Requirement understanding and technical planning

• Database and API design

• Development of new product modules

• Third-party API integration

• Order and shipment lifecycle management

• Wallet and ledger concepts

• COD and reconciliation workflows

• Billing and invoice modules

• KYC and verification workflows

• Notifications and background processing

• Testing, debugging and production support

• Logistics Knowledge – Preferred

• Experience in logistics, courier or e-commerce domain

• Understanding of shipment booking and tracking

• AWB generation and label generation

• Pickup and delivery workflows

• NDR and RTO processes

• Shipping rate calculation

• COD handling and remittance

• Courier reconciliation

• Shipment status and lifecycle management

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend modules using PHP CI3

• Build and maintain REST APIs

• Integrate third-party APIs

• Implement RabbitMQ-based background jobs

• Design and optimize MySQL databases

• Develop features from requirement to production

• Debug and resolve production issues

• Improve application performance and reliability

• Work with frontend developers

• Write clean, reusable and secure code

Must Have

PHP + CI3 + MySQL + REST API + JavaScript/jQuery + Bootstrap + RabbitMQ + Git

Good to Have

• Payment Gateway integration

• KYC/API verification integration

• Wallet/Ledger experience

• Docker/Linux

• Redis

• AWS/Cloud knowledge

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be able to understand requirements, design the solution, develop the feature, integrate APIs, test it and take it to production independently.

Education: B.Tech / BCA / MCA / equivalent experience
Experience: 2–5 years
Logistics Domain Experience: Preferred, not mandatory
