Job Description – Software Developer (Immediate joiner)

We are looking for a versatile Software Developer (Desktop application) who can independently handle the complete software development lifecycle — from understanding requirements and designing solutions to development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in C++, Python, and .NET, along with good knowledge of SQL/MySQL. The candidate should also be comfortable performing manual testing/QA and deploying applications to production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.

• Develop end-to-end applications based on business and technical requirements.

• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code.

• Work with C++, Python, and .NET/C# for application development.

• Design and work with relational databases using SQL and MySQL.

• Develop database queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance where required.

• Understand existing applications and enhance or modify them as needed.

• Perform manual testing and QA of applications, including functional, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues.

• Prepare and execute test cases and document defects.

• Manage application builds, releases, and deployment to development, testing, and production environments.

• Monitor deployed applications and provide post-deployment support.

• Collaborate with business users, QA, and other technical team members to deliver complete solutions.

• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Maintain technical documentation and development-related records.

Required Technical Skills

Programming / Development

• Strong programming experience in C++

• Good working knowledge of Python

• Experience with .NET / C#

• Ability to understand and work across multiple programming languages and technologies

Database

• Strong knowledge of SQL

• Hands-on experience with MySQL

• Good understanding of database design, queries, joins, indexes, and stored procedures

Testing / QA

• Experience in manual software testing

• Ability to prepare and execute test cases

• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing

• Good debugging and defect-analysis skills

Deployment / Support

• Experience deploying applications across environments

• Understanding of application release and deployment processes

• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and provide application support

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services

• Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Good understanding of application architecture and software design principles

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Candidate Profile

• Strong hands-on developer who can own a project from requirement to deployment

• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for deliverables

• Able to analyze problems, develop solutions, test them, and deploy them

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Willingness to work across development, testing, deployment, and support activities

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant professional experience and strong technical skills may be considered in lieu of a specific degree.

Key Requirement

The candidate should be a full-cycle software developer, capable of taking ownership of a software application from requirement analysis → development → database → testing/QA → debugging → deployment → production support.
